Athletes tend to take it easy during the holidays. But that’s an opportunity to put in work and sweat to gain an advantage over everyone else. So how could we make athletes recognize the opportunity that the “downtime” of the holidays could provide?

We took a symbol that signified relaxation and flipped it to have special meaning for the most committed athletes. We created a new take on the holiday sweater for the athletes that proved that they were committed to putting in the hard work and sweat over the holidays. For athletes willing to be a “holiday sweat-er,” we made them a “Gatorade Holiday Sweater.”

These Gatorade sweaters were a unique badge for athletes and they were shared across their social platforms and IRL.
